Take That are doing a one off Christmas time gig this year. Take That in Concert, sponsored by the Seksy Wave, is being shown by ITV on Saturday the 19th of December and repeated on the 20th. This show is definitely going to be in competition to be the most watched show over the Christmas period.
Take That reformed in 2006 after a decade apart, since rejoining they have stormed the charts again and again. They received coveted awards including the 2007 and 2008 Best British Single awards and Best British Tour at the Brits among others. Their new album has sold more than 2.5 million copies in the U.K. alone. Their Beautiful World tour, held last summer, sold out stadiums across the U.K. and got rave reviews from all of thei fans. In all Take That have played live to nearly a million people since reforming.
Take That in Concert is surely going to add many viewers to that number, the 90 minute show will be played in front of a live studio audience and transmitted to millions of television sets around the country. If you are a Take That fan then this is going to be a night to remember.
