Today the U.K. based Kahuna brand is associated with extreme sports enthusiasts also at the top of their profession. They sponsor Russell Winter the former English, British and European Champion and the only European surfer to have competed in the ASP (thats the Association of Surfing Professionals) Elite Tour; a tour bringing together the best surfers in the world!
Kahuna also sponsor a crazy annual event called Mountain Mayhem. Their watches have to be up to scratch because knowing the time is essential during the 24 hour endurance mountain bike race which is hard on equipment and entrants alike.
Their focus on extreme sports, including mountain biking, skating and surfing has inspired them to develop a range of watches that are waterproof and durable with a relaxed beach-wear style. They have either resin, stainless steel or tough webbing straps that can endure extreme conditions.
