Tissot pioneered touch screen mobile technology with their T-Touch watches. They are now showing off the functionality of T-Touch Expert watches through their smart phone app. The app allows you to ‘use’ the functions of the watches on the screen of your phone. These watches are designed for those who take outdoor experiences seriously. The compass and altimeter functions are replicated using the GPS on your phone. Barometer and thermometer readings are simulated as phones cannot take these readings. The chronograph and alarm functions work just as they do on the watch. If you have not seen a T-Touch then this is the closest that you can get to the real thing.

Other apps that are freely available are the festive snow globe app, a snowy scene that clears when the phone is shaken to reveal two Tissot watches. Another popular app is an augmented reality that allows you to virtually try on a watch from anywhere. You have to print out a paper ‘watch’ and use a webcam to overlay the image of a watch onto your wrist. On the screen you will get an idea of what the watch will look like on your wrist. 2010 was a big year for the F1 Red Bull racing team partnered with Casio Edifice. At the European Grand Prix only 1 second separated the top 12 cars on the grid. That is an average gap of 0.08 seconds between each car. Most people have no chance of comprehending such tiny amounts of time and that is why most people are not Formula One drivers. A lot of distance is covered in 0.08 seconds when you are travelling at 200mph. The best drivers have the ability to break down seconds in their mind and try to optimise each fraction. Tonight the 5^th episode of ITV show ‘River Monsters’ is to be aired. The Sekonda Sports Chrono is sponsoring River Monsters which is on tonight at 7.30 on ITV1.

This episode was filmed in the Alaskan wilderness. Extreme angler Jeremy Wade travelled to Alaska in search of a lethal monster that is said to drag people down to an icy grave in two deep lakes.

This episode traces the progress of Jeremy as he tackles sub arctic fishing for the first time. He achieves success when he lands his largest catch to date whilst pursuing the killer beast. He finds a white sturgeon in the Arctic, a fish that could have starred in Jurassic Park. It has been in existence for over 100 million years and is one of the only creatures to have a notocord, a precursor to the backbone. It is one of only two creatures that are known to have this kind of atavistic formation.

It lacks teeth and has bad eyesight, it uses its developed sense of smell to survive in its murky underwater environment. They have been known to live for over 100 years, weigh over 1800 pounds and measure 20 feet.

Previous episodes have seen him travel to the corners of the world in search of the most dangerous fish, many of whom live in inhospitable conditions. The fish that lurk in oceans and rivers are some of the most unusual creatures on earth.

Tissot's President and Tony Parker Signing the Deal

His achievements include leading the French team to a bronze medal in the 2005 European Championships and an impressive list of winnings in the NBA. Of course you shouldn’t expect great acting or an amazing story but that isn’t what The Expendables is about.
